My Minecraft House So Far

My Minecraft house is getting bigger as each day goes by. I had several hours to work on it today since the Diablo 3 servers were down for maintenance. I still have a long ways to go, but every day I get one step closer to the final plans for the house.

Today I used TNT to blow up some of the blocks. It really makes me nervous every time I decide to use it. I would hate to actually blow up my house on accident, and knowing my luck it would happen. At least I removed some blocks that I won't have to do manually.

I think my Minecraft house is looking much nicer than my old one, and I can't wait to completely finish it.

My Minecraft House Is Getting Bigger

My totally revamped Minecraft house is getting bigger, and bigger every day. It is turning out really good so far. I added another floor today, and one yesterday. It still has a long way to go, but eventually I will get there.

Back To Minecraft

I needed a break from Diablo 3, and after watching the sandcastle building at the beach I am inspired again to play Minecraft.  Unfortunately I somehow deleted my main world.  I made a backup early on, but basically I am doing a total rebuild.

Monday

Another Phase Completed Of My New Minecraft House

I have been spending many hours removing blocks, leveling land, planting grass, and so much more in Minecraft.  My new Minecraft House is progressing very nicely.  It puts my old Minecraft house to shame.

I have basically completed the outer walls, built a watch tower, and another building inside the walls. I spent a huge amount of time removing blocks on the outside of the walls to give a cleaner, and more polished look to my Minecraft House.

I still am undecided on my tower.  The look just isn't doing it for me.  It just looks to plain, but adding windows on all of the tower wouldn't really make it a lookout tower.  I may have to brainstorm a little bit, and think of a better design.

I still have two sides of landscaping to complete. It is really time consuming removing blocks to make it level.  I tried using tnt, but it just doesn't give me the results I am looking for.  It also gives me nightmares every time I set off some tnt that I am going to blow up all my hard work.

I recorded a really short video showing the transformation of my new Minecraft house.

Thursday

Another Day Of Minecraft

Today I poured many hours into Minecraft again.  I can now say I am finished with phase 1 of my Minecraft house.  I have now completed the whole construction of the house, and built the outer wall around it.

My next little project is to build a guard tower near where I had my underground tunnel before.  I still haven't decided if I am going to incorporate the tunnel or not.  I think I just want to build a cool stone wall walkway to, and from the tower.

I played with the tnt tonight, and basically blew up my existing structure from my old house project.  I still have many blocks I will have to remove block by block because it is to dangerous to use tnt on it because it is still pretty close to my new Minecraft house.

Here is some of the latest screenshots, and once I complete the guard tower, and walkway I will make another video to upload to Youtube.

Time Flies While Playing Minecraft

Today I ate breakfast right before logging into Minecraft.  I started right away at adding more to my house.  I started feeling really hungry.  I kept telling myself that I just ate, and it didn't make sense why I was so hungry.  I glanced up at the clock, and about fell out of my chair.  Six hours had disappeared.

It doesn't stop there either.  I took a short break to eat something, and went back to working on my house in Minecraft.  Today so far I have managed to play about 10 hours so far.  I just have a hard time logging out.  I always tell myself just one more thing real quick, and the next thing you know I am still logged in hours later.

My house is looking pretty sharp.  I just basically have the back to finish up, and than work on leveling the ground on the outside of the walls to make it more eye appealing overall.  I need to finish the windows on the one side too.

I have decided to totally scrap everything about my original house.  I plan on having a little fun with some tnt in the next few days.  I just hope I don't get carried away, and blow up my whole map by accident.  I think I would definitely ragequit if that happened.

Building My Minecraft House In Less Than 72 Hours

Amazingly I have finally reached a point to make a quick video of my Minecraft House.  I worked a ton of time today on it, and just felt I needed to make a video to totally capture how amazing it is.  I have been working on fixing my old house project now for less than three days of real time.  I have near 25 hours invested into the project of actual time logged in building, and digging in these last few days.

My New Minecraft House

The past few days I have been doing nothing, but playing Minecraft.  I think I have made great strides in improving my first house I built in Minecraft. The transformation so far is very satisfying, and rewarding.

I am still a long ways from finishing this huge project, but I wanted to show everyone my progress just these last few days.  I will show you the before picture, and some of my work in progress screenshots all the way to where I am right now.

I Have My Minecraft Mojo Back

It has been over nine months since I have played Minecraft.  My Minecraft videos are still the most popular videos of all my videos uploaded to Youtube. I love being able to be creative, and build amazing things, and Minecraft lets me do that.  It feels good to be playing again.

I am tackling a huge project from day one.  I am totally remodeling my house. This is going to take many, many hours even with using an inventory editor program.   I don't even really know what I want to do exactly, but to make it more eye appealing.

My house was my very first build, and everything was done legit.  It is now time to speed up the process with the editor, and make the house simply amazing. I will try to give many updated videos, and screenshots as I progress. You can see it transform right before your eyes.

Hopefully this will make all my Youtube subscribers, and commenters happy since they have been asking for almost a year now to finish it.  I plan on devoting hundreds of hours to this project, and can't wait to have the most amazing house in Minecraft.

My Minecraft House of Sand Episode 2

My Minecraft House of Sand has expanded to more than just a house.  It is more like a Sand Village now.  I just hope Notch doesn't implement earthquakes, or this whole sand village could fall in about two seconds.

I experimented with some glass some more, and I really like how it looks.  I just hate how long it takes to craft glass.  It seems to take way to long.  I think it takes at least 15 minutes to craft sixty four glass, or longer.  I was going to time it, but kept forgetting to check the clock.

I finished my mine almost.  I hit rock bottom, and had to go back up when I collected eight diamonds.  I have a few lava waterfalls, and the mine once again goes about sixty levels deep.

I also leveled out the area next to my original house.  It took forever to chip away one block at a time in an area that was about twelve blocks high, and probably one hundred blocks long by fifty blocks wide.  Once I made the area flat I started building houses along the water shoreline.  I decided to make alot of small little hut type houses, and some medium sized ones too.  I am still not done with this area, but most likely will be the feature of my next episode of My Minecraft House of Sand.

You can watch my newest episode of My Minecraft House of Sand, and see all the newest stuff I have added.

My Minecraft House After Two Weeks Episode 5

I initially was going to hold off on releasing My Minecraft House After Two Weeks Episode 5 for tomorrow, but after finally reaching lava, and my first diamond I couldn't stop myself from getting it done today.  The past few days I have been pretty busy in Minecraft, and I wanted to share with you my progress.

My mining tunnel has now finally reached lava.  After almost 60 blocks deep, and 40+ tunnel hallways I finally saw my first lava.  If that wasn't exciting enough about five minutes later I discovered my first two blocks of diamonds.  I have to say I was pretty excited to finally achieve these things in the game.  I was starting to wonder if my world even had lava, and now I know it does.

I touched up some of my buildings with some cobblestone where it was missing.  It is so hard to spend time doing that when I have so much else I want to do.  I sometimes wish I had a helper or two to do some of the things I would rather delegate than do myself.

I also cut off some of the new building.  It just looked a little out of place, and it opened up the waterway which looks way cooler than being hidden inside the walls.  I added some grass on the back side to basically complete the first half of this huge building project.

I added a small walking bridge to cross to the other side for now as I extended the major waterfall from my house all the way to the end of my current building area.  I thought it was a nice way to separate these areas, and start making it look like more than one giant house.

I also went roaming around a little bit while killing cows for some leather armor.  I saw some new areas I am going to tackle in upcoming episodes.  With my current projects I am probably still looking to make at least five more episodes before I finally let go of this area, and move on to a whole new project in my Minecraft world.

I almost had a priceless moment today too.  As I was exploring by the lava, and removing blocks I removed a block that sent a rush of water, and the current almost put me right into the lava.  Luckily I stopped about a block away.  I think that would have ruined my day losing all my iron pickaxes, my newly looted diamonds, and redstone.

My Minecraft House After Two Weeks Episode 3

The last few days all I have done in Minecraft is dig soil.  I am not kidding.  I wish there was a block removal counter because it felt like I have removed enough blocks to fill the ocean.  Anyways I think I am at a good stopping point to take a breather, and upload my newest video My Minecraft House After Two Weeks Episode 3.

I basically took a huge area next to my current house, and stripped all the soil down to the rock.  You may have to watch My Minecraft House After Two Weeks Episode 2 again to see what it looked like before I started.  I wanted to get a new video out so the area is still under major construction.

I still haven't totally decided on how I am going to do it all, but it will eventually get incorporated into my current house.  I am sorry.  I just can't help myself even though I am trying.  I am not completely done stripping the soil.  I still have the area by the waterfall on the side of my house which is all part of my newest stage of building.  Once I complete that which will probably be sometime later tonight I can start visually putting the puzzle together.

It is going to be pretty sweet when I finish this part, and hopefully I will be able to get episode 4 out by the end of the week if everything goes well.

Cool Updates To My Minecraft House

I have been putting alot of hours into Minecraft the last few days.  It gets addicting.  I start off by saying I am going to just do this little section, than that leads to this section, and I can't log off without finishing this part.  I feel like I made some major accomplishments the last few days.  I figure adding some screenshots is the easiest way to show some of my recent changes to my house in Minecraft.

A Waterfall from the side of my house.  I plan on adding a huge viewing window above it on the house probably today.

This is currently where the waterfall goes to.  I am going to turn this into an indoor pool area.

I redesigned this side of my house a little so it doesn't look like a ship.

I moved the water in alot closer, and made a walkway around.

I added a deck, and a diving board to this side of the house.

An overall front view of my house.

I made my windows more open for better views.

Another view of the front of my house.

My Minecraft House After 25+ Hours This Weekend

I know.  How did I spend 25+ hours on my house in Minecraft?  I ask myself the same question.  I guess it is easy to do when your TV is right next to your computer desk.  I think you will enjoy seeing how my house has progressed these last two weeks.

A screenshot doesn't do much justice so I decided to record a short video tour of  My Minecraft House After Two Weeks.  As you can see I still have so many hours of work left on my house.  I don't really mind.  I am enjoying my time in Minecraft every minute, and I know block by block my Minecraft house will be unbelievable when I finally call it done.
