I thought I would share some of the Droid games I enjoy playing on my phone, and soon tablet. It is weird how simple games can be so entertaining.
Angry Birds
You are basically shooting birds with a slingshot into blocks you can knock down. The blocks sort of remind me of a Jenga style game. It is so simple, but once you start playing you can't stop until you clear the levels.
Plants vs. Zombies
You are trying to protect your house from zombies. You plant pea shooter, sunflowers, cherries, walnuts, and more to combat the zombies as they walk toward your house. Once again a simple game, but you find yourself trying to clear each wave of zombies.
Pac Man
It is a classic that you just have to play. It brings back so many memories, and rolls of quarters I used in the arcade on this game. It is basically you being pac man, and eating up all the dots in a maze before the monsters eat you.
Basketball Shot
If you have ever played pop a shot in the arcade than you will soon find yourself constantly trying to beat your high score. Later levels the hoop begins to move to make it harder, but it makes it that more challenging where you want to keep playing.
Paper Toss
This brings back the days of school when you would wad up a piece of paper, and try to make it in the wastebasket without the teacher seeing. It has some added difficulty with a fan blowing so it isn't always just a straight toss into the basket.
PBA Bowling 2
A fun bowling game. No bowling shoes required. A great way to bowl compared to hucking a fifteen pound ball down the lane, and killing your back. There is something satisfying about bowling a better score on the game.
Whac A Mole
Just like the old arcade game of whacking moles. Test your reflexes, and see how fast you can whack the moles. I always love pretending they are people I hate in real life. It really makes it even more fun.
