Why do I hate Warhammer Online with a passion? I keep trying to kick this game to the curb like Wade Phillips of the Dallas Cowboys. I was looking back this morning at my posts, and was thinking I finally beat the love-hate relationship with Warhammer Online by being unsubscribed for over a month.
I stopped even reading about the game. I stopped reading almost every Warhammer Online Blog. I stopped interacting with most on Twitter. I thought I finally was going to be able to let go. The problem is after reading Bootae's Twitter about the upcoming changes that Andy posted about acquiring gear, renown, gold bags, scenario matchmaking I want to play again. I blame Bootae for feeding my gaming addiction to Warhammer Online. I bet right now Carrie, Andy, and the Warhammer Online Devs are probably laughing as they read this. They probably had interoffice betting going on to see how long it took for me to come back to the game.
It is amazing that just a few simple changes to the game, and I want to play again. These are changes I have been wanting to see for forever. The problem is I have been out of the loop since unsubscribing so most of patch 1.4 will be overwhelming since I haven't kept up, or participated in any PTS events.
Now I have to make the decision on what character I want to play, and do I switch off of Gorfang. It will be easy to finally gain renown with my BW, and it may revitalize my love for my first main. I still love my Archmage though, but cranking out forty renown ranks, and acquiring all the gear will still be alot of work than gliding to 80 with my Bright Wizard.
So for now I will be coming back to Warhammer Online. It will be nice to kiss and make up with all my fellow Warhammer Online bloggers, and the Warhammer Online Community on Wasdstomp. I have to say I really missed visiting everyone's blogs, interacting on twitter, and all the comments here.
