Yes, my newest game addiction. I am enjoying creating adventures for players to play more than actually playing my Firelord. I published my first campaign today called Spruce Hollow, and this video shows the first chapter in the series of adventures in the campaign.

This Game Is Just Cool, and Fun To Play
I discovered The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot game the other day. It has to be my favorite game right now. It mixes my two favorite genres into one game. It basically is an ARPG mixed with Tower Defense. I would compare it to Diablo 3 and Orcs Must Die.
There is basically two parts to the game. You attack other players castles, and pre built castles. The thing that makes it fun, and exciting is it is never the same game twice. Every player castle is set up differently. The players may use lots of traps, or they may decide to use creatures. They may decide to mix a little of both. Either way it is always something new, and not just the monotonous of Diablo 3, or Orcs Must Die.
You earn crowns, gold, and lifeforce in every victory along with some nice xp. The more crowns you have the higher you rank in the leaderboards. You can earn some bling another currency in the game which will allow you to change to a different skin for your castle, buy pets, or costumes for your characters.
The second part to the game is building your castle. Don 't worry it isn't some complicated process. You buy mobs, traps, and etc and place them throughout your castle trying to make your castle impossible to beat. The thing is no castle can be impossible to beat. They put in a safety to where you have to be able to win it first before anyone else is able to attack it.
I made a few castles so hard that after several attempts I had to make it easier so even I could complete it. As you level up you can increase the levels of your creatures, traps, add rooms, and etc. I am just really enjoying this game after my major burnout of the same ole same ole in Diablo 3 lately.
Oh I almost forgot the best part. It is free to play. How can you beat that? Well, if you decide to hop in the game you can find me as Wasdstomp. Send me a friend request. I look forward to seeing you in the game. Before I go here is a video of someone losing to my castle which you get a video of everyone who wins or loses in your castle which is also pretty cool because you can see how players either lost, or beat it.

Twist And Shout
The past few months I have been giving blog recognition on Wasdstomp in a different way. Usually at the bottom of every post I link in my related articles other bloggers who are writing about the same games, ideas, or rants. Today I am flashing back a few months, and giving recognition directly in my post.
If you still love Warhammer, and love to laugh I recommend you read Healeroftru's blog. The thing I love about his blog is it stands out compared to all other Warhammer Online blogs out there. He writes his posts in some oddball leetspeek or something. He cracks me up every time I read one of his posts. You won't ever find the same old things rehashed like on most other Warhammer blogs. His polls, and the answers he lets you select are funny too. You can't help yourself from not voting. I can't stop talking about how great his blog is. His screenshots with his special captions makes me laugh too.
I just recently discovered The Lunar Shepard. I saw a tweet from Twitter about Blogrolls, and I had to leave a comment. I felt so passioniate about it that I basically wrote a blog post as a comment. Today he is talking about Twitter being in talks with Google about selling. I plan on writing another great comment once I finish this blog post today. I just find his posts very inviting to comment on, and I am sure you will feel the same way once you read his blog.
My final blog is Oakstout. Believe it or not I found someone else in the blogosphere that is angrier than me. It seems Oak is always fired up about something. I had the pleasure of listening to it on vent every night. It cracked me up listening to him rant in his N.C. accent. Just be careful saying the word beta around him unless you are talking about the fish you find in little cups at the pet store.

Kiss My Niche Goodbye
The time has come that I needed to really look at myself, and this blog. I am kicking my gaming niche for my blog to the curb. Effective immediately my blog will be random rants about almost anything. One day I may be talking about sports, and the next day it may be about my crazy neighbor, or my cat, or some local or national news.

I Have Officially Quit Warhammer Online
I have been hinting at it the last few days, and I just want to make it official. I will no longer be playing Warhammer Online. I initially was going to play around with the free trial once in a while, but I think it is best that I put this game away for good.
It is definitely time. I just couldn't see anything positive. All I ever thought about was the negative aspects of any patch, rvr pack, hotfix, or whatever. It isn't all bad, but my mind just flowed with negative thoughts about the game around the clock.
It was to the point that no matter what I was going to find something negative about any change. It just isn't fair to the game, or anyone who may have randomly came across Wasdstomp.
Wasdstomp will be changing its focus to mainly Minecraft, and Cataclysm.

My First Ebook Is Right Around The Corner
Do you want to be the first to read my E-book? I made one New Year's resolution last January, and that was to publish my first E-book this year. Don't worry my E-book will be free. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the valuable content that will be included in the E-book.
I am currently working on the rough draft. I still need to spend some time putting the finishing touches on it. I plan on releasing it sometime in November if everything goes as planned. I am not at the point to release any of the details of the E-book, but I can guarantee it will make many MMORPG players happy. It is something players have been wanting, and this E-book will go viral. I have no doubts about it. It is going to simply knock your socks off.
I wish I could tell you a little more about it, but right now the contents have to be kept secret. If you would like to get first access, and be the first to read it than be sure to sign up for my Wasdstomp Gaming Email List located on the right of this blog. Any subscriber to the list will gain full access to my E-book before anyone else.
I told you that subscribing to my Wasdstomp Gaming Email List was going to eventually pay off. You are going to see the first dividends in November. By subscribing you also get the chance to win fifty bucks every month. How can you pass that up?

Watch My Live Broadcast #2 (Recorded)
Today I did my official second live streaming broadcast. I recorded the live feed, and you can now watch my show in case you were not able to watch it live. The video is raw, and unedited for the full effect of it being live.
Slapping High Fives To All My Commenters
I just wanted to slap high fives with everyone who comments on my blog. Wasdstomp wouldn't be the great community without all of you commenting, and bringing the blog to life.
I personally want to thank all the commenters in this last month. Thank you to Kinlay, Scarybooster, Rancid, ThatskarwithaK, Zizlak, Shannon, Longasc, Higgs, Werit, Krosuss, Thehealeroftru, Helldorf, Boruk, Ranknvile, Erbse, Blurring Shock, Grukkzag, Rer, Mr. Meh, Charlotte, Openedge, River, Blaq, Pearle, Paul Maplesden, Nick, Jestor, Kesarin, Thrangis, and Lokax.

Wasdstomp Makes An Upbeat Post For Once
Okay. It is time for me to make an upbeat post for once, and stop all the negativity. Why am I always so negative?
My post today is a little off-topic, but if it means I am upbeat I am sure most won't mind.
I am not sure if everyone knows, or not that reads Wadstomp. I have been a season ticket holder for the Portland Trailblazers now for 3 years, and just a few weeks ago paid for my fourth year.
We made the playoffs once again this year, and fighting for our seed in the playoffs. It is pretty exciting since we have had so many injuries to key players this year I thought we were going to be in the draft lottery again. Wait, I am supposed to be happy, and upbeat in this post.
I am not sure how many of my readers follow the NBA, but the Western Conference fight this year is epic. One win, or one loss could mean 1-4 spots of gaining, or losing seed in the playoffs. It is amazing to see how competitive this conference is, and to have so many 50+ win teams in it.
I have to say I was so excited with our win over the Lakers in LA yesterday afternoon. It means we can steal a game from them down there if we end up matched up with them sometime in the playoffs.
Tonight they are back home against OKC. I am so excited about the game tonight. I plan on drinking like a fish. I am meeting someone two hours before the game at a bar close by the Rose Garden to start pounding beers.
Outside of playing MMORPG's the Blazers make my life very exciting. You have to love the team. I personally met all of them this year at our season ticket holder meet and greet. It will be a day I never forget.
Go Blazers.

Gaming Distractions
Do you ever sit down to play your favorite game, and five hours later you find yourself still not logged in? It seems once you log into your computer you can be distracted so easily from your original plans.
I find this happening all the time. I have time off from work, and tell myself I am going to play 8-10 hours that day. I usually end up playing 2-3 hours instead.
What distracts me from my gaming? It seems like almost everything does. I even tell myself sometimes that I am instantly double clicking my game of choice icon as soon as my computer loads.
It rarely happens. I first say to myself I better check my email to see if I have any comments on my blogs, facebook, and Youtube. I respond to any comments.
Usually next I than want to see real quick what is on Twitter. The next thing you know an hour or two has gone by.
I than find myself checking my RSS reader to skim new posts. I get drawn in, and end up spending an hour or two reading posts, and leaving comments.
The next thing you know some kind of sports is on TV. I try to draw myself away, but every time I end up staying until the game is over.
The list just keeps going, and going. The next thing I know its 9pm, and I wonder where all my gaming time went that day.

Wasdstomp Gets An Extreme Makeover
I gave Wasdstomp an extreme makeover. I was tired of it looking like every other Blogger blog out there. I hope everyone enjoys the new look, and feel.
Gripe Of The Week
My gripe of the week this week is me wanting to change Wasdstomp. I want to expand about the things I talk about.
I really want to talk about sports more. I am an avid sports fan, and would love to talk about everything in the sports world to add a little variety to Wasdstomp. Would it be stretching what a Gaming Blog should be? Sports are games right?
I just don't feel like trying to maintain a separate sports blog. Do you think I could blend the two into Wasdstomp? Should I just call my blog Wasdstomp, and not Wasdstomp Gaming Blog?

Howling Gorge Scenario Was Fun
I am really going to miss the Howling Gorge Scenario. I am not sure how the decision was reached to remove this one.
I always thought there were great fights in this scenario. I liked how there really wasn't chokepoints so you could always find a way to attack.
I liked how most of the fights happened in the middle. It left you going up your ramp, or going around to take them out from their back lines. It also had the bridges you could take to come in from the sides.
I liked how you could use LOS, and the ramps as strategies. You could hide behind bushes, rocks, trees, and still fire away as a caster.
The only part I didn't care about was running the keg. It probably would of been better with a capture the flag mechanic like Temple of Isha, or Doomfist Crater.
