I am progressing pretty nicely through Portal. Tonight I breezed through many of the chambers until I managed to get to fourteen. If Portal doesn't get your brain thinking than nothing will. My brain is about to explode from trying to figure this one out.
I am going to have to sleep on this one, and think about it all day at work tomorrow. I know eventually I am going to figure it out. I think I need to get rested, and have a clear mind to think how I am going to solve it.
It can be frustrating that some puzzles seem so easy, and some drive you crazy. The weird part is once you figure it out you wonder why it took so long.
This game is crazy addicting though. You get so frustrated from not being able to figure it out that you just keep trying over and over. It just has this addictive power that makes you not want to stop until you solve it. It makes it very rewarding once you figure it out. It is better than any stupid achievement you earn in a mmorpg.
The next thing is you start your next puzzle, and you just want to check it out before logging off. It looks easy so it lures you in, and you end up not logging off. An hour later you are saying to yourself I thought this one was going to be easy.
I am highly recommending everyone play this game. It has become one of my favorite games that I have played in a long time.
