All I can say is Portal rocks. I wanted to punch my TV the first night though. I have never been so frustrated in my life. I just wasn't quite understanding what I was supposed to be doing. I felt like I was going in circles, and there was no one to help.
I just needed that jump start to see someone play it so I knew what the heck I was supposed to be doing. I literally ran around in this one room for an hour trying to figure out how I was going to get up to this area I was supposed to get to.
I tried everything, and eventually I just logged off the game, and starting playing Team Fortress 2 instead. I ragequit that after a few games because it seemed we never had any medics on my side. I decided to check out a Portal walkthrough on Youtube, and than it finally clicked.
I stopped at where I currently am at, and saw how easy it was. I literally spent hours in this room, and once I saw the solution I just wanted to look directly into my portal gun, and pull the trigger.
It was amazing after finishing that puzzle. Every room after that I knew exactly what to do after thinking about it a minute. I now see why this game is so addicting. It is fun actually trying to figure out the solutions to each room.
I still have a long ways to go in the game, but I can't wait to finish Portal so I can than finish Portal 2 after that.
