I keep cruising along in Portal. I keep thinking I am almost done, and it is like the Energizer bunny it just keeps going and going. I must be getting close to the end I hope. I just want to see what the great ending is all about.
Chamber 19 has definitely tested my patience a few times. It is aggravating sometimes to know that you have the mechanics down, but for some reason your timing is just a bit off. I am not sure how many times I have died falling into the toxic water.
The sounds of the game sometimes get a bit annoying, and I have to take my headphones off. I love the lady voice, but all the other sounds I could do without when I am trying to concentrate to figure out the current puzzle.
Currently I am at the part where she says she is going to kill me. The cake may be a lie, but her saying she is going to kill me has been very true. I thought I had it figured out, but its not killing the stupid turret or whatever it is. I have made portals so it shoots itself, but it just keeps going and going.
Once I get stumped like this I just have to stop for the night. There is only so much dying I can handle in one night. Hopefully tomorrow night I will load up the game, and I will see something I kept overlooking tonight.
The game is quite addicting. I can't just give up like I do in so many other games. It is my mission to finish this game, and eat my cake. Even if the cake is really a lie in the game I am buying myself a nice carrot cake when I finish it to mock it back.
