Another building project in Minecraft is now complete. The building of The Minecraft Windmill was much quicker than I anticipated. I figured it would take a few days, but I finished it in one day.
The windmill blades were going to be the toughest part of the build. I just built some glass platforms to stand on while I added each blade. It worked pretty good. After the fourth blade I went back, and broke all the glass. I stepped back a little, and the windmill looked perfect.
I moved on to the inside, and completed the stairs to each level first. I went back to the bottom floor, and added a fireplace, couch, and a bedroom. The next floor I did my best to make a big screen tv. The top floor is just a small deck overlooking the scenic beauty of Minecraft.
I am on vacation this week from my real life job, and should be able to dedicate quite a bit of time towards building stuff. I hopefully dream of something to build tonight so I can stop wasting time trying to brainstorm half the day on what to build.
