Glass Tower 3+ Completed

I finished Glass Tower 3+ today.  I managed to complete all 150 levels.  I actually am surprised I finished it so quickly.  I was a little disappointed that the level of difficulty didn't raise as I progressed in levels.

One cool feature is I can now create my own levels, but for some reason it doesn't interest me.  I now have to find a new game to tackle.

Three Games I Enjoyed Playing Today

The last few days I have posted a few reviews of some smartphone games.  I really do seem to enjoy the casualness of playing games on my phone.  It is weird that I am liking these games.  In the last 10-15 years I would never be caught dead calling myself a casual gamer.

Let's fast forward to today.  I find myself only liking smartphone games.  I enjoy playing a different variety of games during the day instead of the previous years of turning a game into a full time job.  Today I had off from work, and casually played three games pretty much all day.

I am addicted to Diamond Dash.  I have to always play it once my lives are replenished.  I am not that great at it, but I love the challenge.  I still haven't figured out how some people get these outrageous scores.  It seems impossible, and of course in the back of my mind I think they are cheating.  What is the point of cheating just to lead the leaderboard for a week?

Yesterday I gave a short review of Glass Towers 3+.  Today I actually spent quite a bit of time playing it.  I played it so much I completed all the levels on my version, but for another buck I can unlock another 100 levels.  I am enjoying the game enough that a buck is nothing for a game that is fun, and challenging at the same time.  I will be unlocking the rest of the levels, and trying to complete the whole game.

Rise of the Blobs has me hooked too.  I reviewed it the other day also, and as the days go by I realize how much I enjoy playing this game.  My high score is around 450k, but I am not even close to beating the game.  I think I barely can pass the first few waves before the blobs reach the top, and the game is over.  The game just isn't like any other games I have played, and I just find it fun, and challenging.

If you are looking for some casual fun, and challenging games I recommend downloading all three game apps on your smartphone.  I see myself playing these for many more hours.

Rise of the Blobs

I found another pretty cool game for my smartphone.    Rise of the Blobs is great for anyone looking for a game you can play for ten to thirty minute sessions.

Basically you are Marsh Mal and you are trying to prevent the blobs from reaching you at the top.

Random fruit drops down from the top as you try to match the colors to break up those blobs.  The more you progress the faster they fall, and the quicker you have to spin the pole around to match the colors.

It is Facebook integrated so you can compete with your friends.  I really enjoy the game every time I play it.

Sunday

iDemolished

Do you love Angry Birds?  iDemolished puts a unique twist on Angry Birds.  Are you tired of trying to aim the slingshot perfectly?  iDemolished is all about placing sticks of explosives in the right spots, and clicking the boom button.  The game offers over fifty levels, but also lets you create your own, and upload them online for other players to enjoy.

I love playing this game on my phone, and tablet.  Another little twist they added is you can influence the way the blocks fall by tilting your phone in the direction you want them to fall.  It makes the game quite addicting, and fun.

You never run out of content with all the player made content.  I have seen some pretty amazing levels made by players.  The best part is the game is not just about playing, but if you are the one who likes crafting in games than you will really love being able to make your own levels for other players to play.

Fieldrunners Is Tons Of Fun

Do you have an Android, or Apple smartphone or tablet?  Do you enjoy tower defense games?  Would you pay only $3 for a great game?  If you answered yes than this game will give you hours of enjoyment.

Currently I am playing it on my tablet, and I can't put it down.  Seriously.  The only reason I stopped playing to write this review is because I have been playing games on my tablet all day, and it finally needed to be put on the charger.

Fieldrunners is tons of fun.  I instantly was addicted to it in the first minute.  The game is really quick to learn, and before long you keep getting farther, and farther into the game.  So what is the game all about that makes it so fun?

On one end you have your fort, or base.  On the other end soldiers, tanks, and etc try to make it to your base.  The object is to build towers to kill, or blow them up before they reach you.  You initially start off with a small sum of money, and have to work yourself up to afford the better towers.  The towers are $5, $10, $20, and $70.

The strategy I start off with is with the cheap ones.  I line them up, and as I get more money I keep upgrading my towers as I get closer to my base.  Each round offers a different level of difficulty.  You may get massive amounts of low health soldiers to kill, and really slow high health tanks, helicopters, and so on.

The rounds go pretty quick, and each new game you figure out a new strategy to use.  I have finished about 50 rounds as my highest round completed so far, but once my tablet recharges I plan on blowing that record out of the water.

It is games like Fieldrunners. and other game apps lately that give me more enjoyment than the $60 titles these days.  Is it the simplicity, or what that makes these games so addicting, and fun?
