I decided to change up my stats a little bit tonight in Diablo 3. I am tired of never seeing any good item level 63 items dropping. You would think after 240 hours of play time I would have at least had a few amazing drops.
I started chatting with some players in general chat, and they told me that Magic Find plays a very large part in getting quality drops. I had a few million gold saved up so I went to the auction house to find me some new gear.
I was a little reluctant giving up some of my other stats for Magic Find, but I am tired of farming for basically no reward. After replacing every piece of armor I now have a good amount of Magic Find. I am now sitting at 300% with five stacks of nephalem valor.
I did one trial farming run just to see if there was any difference. It looked like I was getting more drops, but still pretty mediocre items. I am starting to think it is all about luck.
