I know about six months ago I talked about this game. It is hitting the spot for me right now. It has everything I want in a game, and more. What is the game all about?
The game is a true mix of genres. I feel it is a cross between Diablo 3, Kingdoms of Amalur, and an MMO. It has all the best qualities of each rolled up into one. The best part is it is free to play.
Nexon just added a new ranged class called the Tinkerer to add to the Warrior, Sorceress, Cleric, and Archer. There is a class for every type of play style.
What is it about this game that makes it unique? I have to say the grind. It isn't the typical go kill bears, and bring me back the skins. You are killing lots of things in an instanced quest, and you get to kill named bosses from level one.
The combat is like most RPG's similar to Diablo 3 where you are killing 3-5 mobs at a time, or more. It isn't the same old boring two minute long fights to kill one mob. It is fast action, and it doesn't feel like you are playing an MMO.
It is an MMO though. You can co-op any instance,
and choose the difficulty level so you never get stuck not being able to progress. You have the bank, auction house, merchants, professions just like an MMO. You even have PvP, but I haven't experienced it yet.
This game is very fun so far, and in just one sitting I progressed further than I did back in October when I initially tried it out. If you are looking for some fun than you can find me on the Elena server with my new Warrior called Livita.
