I downloaded Guild Wars free trial today. With all the excitement of Guild Wars 2 I thought I would check it out.
After downloading, and creating my character I was greeted with You got 9 Hours remaining on your free trial, or May 12th whichever comes first?
Are you being serious? You only get 9 hours to see if you like the game or not. How far into the game can you get in 9 hours to make that decision?
Another disturbing thing is they lock out PvP on the trial. How am I supposed to judge if I like the PvP in the game if I can't even try it out.
I think NCsoft needs to take some lessons from some other MMORPG's on free trials. I will probably burn up all 9 of my hours on Friday. I hope those 9 hours of PvE convince me to buy the game when I really only want to PvP.
