A few weeks ago I decided to download Words with Friends on my phone. I figured it would be fun to play Scrabble basically on my breaks, and lunches at work. What was I thinking? Why is it that everyone feels like they have to be so competitive?
What am I talking about? I am talking about those who come up with this unheard of words for every turn they have. I know these words aren't in their vocabulary. Why do they insist on using some unscrambler program just so they can win?
It seems that winning is more important than playing, and just having fun. I know if we were sitting down, and playing a real game of scrabble they would be using words like lot, jump, camera, and not quoth, aberguist, jauraon, and words that I haven't even heard of.
It has taken all the fun out of playing Words with Friends already. I can't compete now unless I use an unscrambler myself. What fun is that? Who needs brainpower when you have the internet?
