Do you ever get mad, and say things you regret later? I am there right now. I said something a few months ago, and now I have to eat my own words. What did I say?
Don't worry it wasn't something life changing, but I hate being like John Kerry, and flip flopping. I think I was just a bit angry, and said something out of frustration. I guess it is time to eat my pride, and divulge what I said.
It happened at PAX while visiting the Bethesda booth. They made it a big deal to not record any game footage. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I recorded anyways, and uploaded the Skyrim videos to Youtube.
The next day I am ordered to pull all my Skyrim videos off of Youtube for copyright. Once again it just pissed me off. Everyone wants to see some actual gameplay footage for the most anticipated game. My recording wasn't the greatest, but if you are dying to see some footage the quality of the video doesn't matter.
I am a gaming blogger, and I was excited about the game since E3 when I saw it on the G4 broadcast. I just wanted to get everyone hyped up about the game. Seriously not everyone can go to PAX so I wanted everyone to enjoy watching some videos of Skyrim.
Anyways it all just rubbed me the wrong way, and I said I was not going to buy Skyrim in spite. What a stupid thing to say. I want to play Skyrim so bad, and with a month off from work what the heck else am I going to do all of November?
It will be fun playing a game that everyone is playing at the same time so I will be pulling a John Kerry, and buying the game. I am still flip flopping on how I want to buy it. I really want the boxed CE, and I also want to buy it on Steam. I think I am going to end up buying two copies. I will buy the CE to actually not open, and use Steam for the copy I am going to play.
