Is it that easy to know who a gamer is? Remember in high school when you would classify everyone into groups like the stoners, the metal heads, the rockers, the nerds, and etc? Does a gamer have a certain look? If you had a photo lineup of five people could you pick out the gamer?
I think it used to be easier to figure out who was a gamer. It is so mainstream now that you never know who is one. I know last year when I went to PAX for the first time I thought I was going to be hanging out with a bunch of slobs who never heard of showers, and deodorant.
It blew me away. I would have never guessed in a million years if I passed them on the street that most of them were gamers. What happened to only the nerdy kids playing games?
It still amazes me of all the gamer chicks too. If I only knew so many played games back when I was young, and skinny I would have had the hottest, and coolest girlfriends in high school.
My question is what do you picture a gamer to look like?
