Today I watched ESPN most of the day. In one day you can see many of the media who vote for the Heisman Trophy winner. I think most are pretty biased, and it makes the Heisman seem useless to me.
Today some news has been circulating that Cam Newton may have been involved in a recruiting scandal between Mississippi State, and Auburn. It takes forever for these things to be investigated.
Many of the Heisman voters were asked if it has swayed their votes, and most said they were still voting for him. It pisses me off. Of course he could be innocent, but what good is it going to be that in five years he ends up having to give it back if found guilty?
It just proves that they become infatuated with one player, and nothing is going to get them to change their vote. I just hope karma gets them, and Auburn loses against Chattanooga, and Cam Newton throws five interceptions and loses by three touchdowns.
