World of Warcraft Auction House on your Smartphone

What will Blizzard think of next?  They really are on top of technology trends.  It is like they are always ahead of the game on what players want.  It is why their next MMORPG will probably blow everyone away, and exceed everyone's expectations.

It will be nice for all the players who like to farm the auction house.  Now you will be able to do it while at work, on a lunch break, stuck in the airport, or wherever.  I think it will be fun, and can't wait to try it out.  It will be like a mini-game to play when you can't be in-game.  Even if there is a monthly subscription for it I would do it.

How about all those times you look on the Auction House for a certain item.  It is never on there.  What if you received a text alert that someone posted it?  You could than buy the item instead of getting home to find out that a guildmate saw it, but it sold already.

Would you be able to check multiple servers, and eventually find it on another server to buy it?  I see endless possibilities on how this could really take the auction house on World of Warcraft to the next level.

It could also have a negative impact too.  What if the auction house farming goes out of control, and prices just start skyrocketing.  What if someone buys certain items instantly, and they are never available to buy for people just only using the auction house in game.

Will it give the gold selling sites just one more thing to sell as a service to players?  Could they control the market, and buy things on other servers cheap, transfer toons, and sell them higher on other servers?  Would they be able to farm the auction house easier with multiple accounts offline with their smartphones?

Please feel free to leave a comment about how you think this new auction house feature will affect World of Warcraft.  I appreciate every comment my readers leave, and reply to all comments.  Be sure to follow me on Twitter, and subscribe to my free RSS Feed to become part of the Wasdstomp Community.
