I love the Feast of Winter Veil event in World of Warcraft that starts December 15th.   It is one of the best events to make easy gold from.  You can sell small eggs, milk, gingerbread cookies for crazy prices on the auction house, and it puts tons of gold into your bank account with almost no effort.
