I have this fight down. I defeated it in Nightmare tonight with ease. I will explain how to defeat Maghda in Diablo 3 for a Barbarian, but the actual strats should work for most classes.
I won't go over all the spell details, but you can check out the screenshot that shows my skill setup, and spellbar rotation. It is pretty simple strat. I use revenge a bunch for free heals basically. Be sure to use ignore pain, and use your ancients to help fight.
Maghda has a few things she does. She will pop an immunity bubble, and spawn some minions. You have to kill all her minions to pop the immunity bubble. While she roams with the immunity bubble she will cast like an insect swarm. Be sure to avoid it at all costs. Try to stay behind a pillar to kill the minions if possible.
The fight is actually pretty simple. I had no problem killing her today. I learned a ton from this fight in normal mode that Nightmare mode seemed like a piece of cake. Just be sure to attack her every time you pop her immunity bubble, and eventually you will win the fight.
