Yes, I did it. I killed Diablo with ease being a Barbarian. I killed him the first try with no close calls. It seemed like one of the easiest fights in the game. Basically the whole strat is to stay away from his fire circles on the ground, and when he turns while blowing fire. Otherwise the fight is really a piece of cake.
Some of the offensive/defensive spells used is Frenzy, Ignore Pain, Threatening Shout, Ground Stomp, the one with 3 minions, and Revenge. I think for passives I used Nerves of Steel, Tough as Nails, and one other. You can check out the screenshot below to check out my exact spell setup, and rotation on my hotbar.
